The Trade wars have begun between US and China and while the US president is adamant to secure any further development in Trade ties with the South Asian Giant, the roads forward doesn’t looks that easy for the Dragon as well. Even though the Chinese domination on Global Consumer electronics production stands at almost 80% currently, the country is marred by the rising Electricity and natural gas costs along with the big surge in various taxes across the country. That’s where India Holds a great chance to grab onto the Opportunity and attract all those Chinese manufacturers towards Indian Territory, which would ultimately, bring greater benefits to the country in terms of Revenue and employment for the local people.
As been quoted by Sunil Kilaru, Director of Kalpin Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. (Kalpin), “India is well poised to become the next Global Superpower by 2025 and the government along with the Big Trade giants must provide an Ecosystem conducive to all the Global manufacturers in the times to come. Secondly, we hold a great opportunity to take the benefit out of the big Paradigm shift of the Chinese manufacturers to other countries and this could well be our long term answer to the Rising Unemployment question in the country. If we have a look at the Reports by the Consumer Electronics and Appliances Manufacturers Association (CEAMA) and Frost & Sullivan, the consumer electronics industry in India is expected to witness the growth at a CAGR of 9.5% from 2015 till 2021 and this is the time when the country must look at grabbing that 30-40% share of the global production of electronics by attracting Global Manufacturers to its Territory.”
Mr. Sunil Kilaru further added, “We have initiated with our efforts in the same direction and recently signed an MOU with All Wins based out of Shenzhen, China. Kalpin would provide them all the required Infrastructure in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. Some of the biggest name in Chinese Consumer Electronics Manufacturing like Holitech and TCL are also opening Manufacturing Units in Tirupati, A.P. While TCL is expected to bring in an investment of Rs 2000 crore, Holitech is believed to be investing almost 1400 crore over the period of two years. This would surely create thousands of jobs for local people whilst boosting the overall Economic growth of the Andhra Pradesh and India in the process.”
